U0114 Lost Communication With Final Drive Module (FDCM) (ASBS) (In ORC/SRS Module)
U0114 code - When monitored this DTC with the ignition on, battery voltage between 10 and 16 volts, ignition Off Draw (IOD) fused installed, Tottaly Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is configured correctly. Set condition this Bus messages not received from the Final Drive Control Module (FDCM) (ASBS) for approximately two five seconds.
Possible causes U0114 code:
- CAN C Bus (+) circuit shorted to voltage
- CAN C Bus (-) circuit shorted to ground
- DTCa related to battery voltage, ignition, or VIN messages
- TIPM not configured correctly
- FDCM/ASBS power and ground
- FDCM/ASBS Module
- Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC)

Verify diagnostic trouble code is active
Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and battery voltage is between 10 and 16 volts before proceeding. Turn the ignition on, with the scan tool read ORC DTCs.
Is the U0114 code active?
Yes, refer to DTC in the site TIPM DTC and perform the U0114 code diagnostic procedure.
No, refer to Non DTC diagnostic in the site and perform the stored lost communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
