C1238 Drive Test: Unsuccessful - If any other DTCs are present, repair them first before continuing with this diagnostic procedure.
Set condition code C1238 Drive test unsuccessful, if the Antilock Brake System (ABS) Module detects a fault with the steering angle sensor, the pressure sensor, or dynamics sensor.
Possible cause: Antilock Brake System (ABS) Module.
This DTC must be active for the results of this test to be valid.
Turn the ignition on, with the scan tool read and record DTCs. With the scan tool, erase DTCs. Start the engine, with the scan tool read and record DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
YES, replace the Antilock Brake System (ABS) Module. Perform the ABS verification test.
NO, test complete.
